OUR PASTOR
Pastor Smith is an anointed and powerful man of faith and power. He has over forty years of ministry experience and has traveled throughout the country as an Evangelist and Psalmist. He is the founder of Dominion and Power Ministries which serves the Garland Texas community. Pastor Smith has been married to his wife Tanita for 30 years and has one son Donovan. He has worked with numerous churches around the DFW metroplex.
He attended Oklahoma City University, the Potter’s Institute and majored in Christian Ministries at DBU. He served as one of the Publication Managers for Dr. Jerry Savelle Ministries International traveling with the Believer’s Convention.
His ministry style is bold, inspiring, and uncompromising. His mission is evangelism working with pastors, musical staff, youth, and young adults to pursue their destiny and to experience the supernatural abundance of God.
PASTOR'S WIFE
Lady Tanita Smith attended University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (U.A.P.B.) with a Major in Accounting and Minor in Business Administration. She has been married to Pastor Smith for 30 years and has one son, Donovan.
Lady Tanita has a heart for God and passion for those who are hurting. She is a Proverbs 31 woman. ” She does not want to be served but rises early, even before sunrise to delegate tasks and engage in business. She possesses a range of manual, commercial, administrative, and interpersonal skills and opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy. She is loving, dignified, and her virtues increase her husbands reputation. She is sharp but honest, engaged in business for the benefits of her household. Above all, she fears the Lord for a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Lady Tanita has volunteered countless hours serving people: food and clothing distribution and domestic abuse shelters. She has a passion for seniors, children, and young adults.
